Our Mission

CUBS seeks to empower youth in Vancouver and the Lower Mainland through education, mentorship, and fundraising projects

We envision a world where youth have equal chance and opportunity to achieve their career and academic aspirations

About US

CUBS is a registered non-profit run by UBC students, with the goal to help alleviate poverty in the Lower Mainland of British Columbia. Our tutors connect virtually to students through Google Meet to provide academic support and mentorship.

All UBC tutors are undergraduate, graduate, or diploma students studying at accredited post-secondary institutions across 50+ academic academic and professional programs. They bring a range of insights and strengths to each of their sessions that helps create our unique blend of mentorship and education. We strive to foster a love of lifelong learning in our students, and hope to empower them as they progress through their education.

For those interested in joining CUBS as a volunteer or enrolling a student with our program, please see the menu at the top of the page. CUBS is always excited to welcome new team members and students! For more information, please visit the ‘Contact Us’ tab in menu options.
